I wanted to share with you my initial thoughts and experience.
The look of the machines and functionality of the touch screen technology will speak for itself once you see them. During the 6 month search of treadmills we conducted, I looked at Precor, Cybex, Star Trac, and Technogym. We ultimately decided to go with TRUE for a variety of reasons. The touch screen technology, the aesthetic look, the pricing, and the serviceability of the product were all huge for us. Our members have been raving about our new treadmills! I have yet to hear a negative comment.
Although we have only had our treadmills for a little over a week I am BLOWN away by the service Terry and Gym Source has provided. As an example one of the treadmills was not packaged properly from the True warehouse and did not come with a working power supply. Terry had the part over-nighted and had a tech in to install the very next day. We were having another issue (turned out to be user error on our part) that we reported to Terry on Saturday morning and he came by the branch the same day to personally help us trouble shoot.
I have worked in 2 other states, Jackson, Ms and Charlotte, NC for the Y and have never had that type of service from an equipment rep. I have been here in St Petersburg for close to a year and a half and can say this about Terry: if he tells you he will do something he will make it happen and do whatever he can to make you happy.
