The TRUE ES900 Elliptical Trainer

(by Norm Morrison)

True fact: I’ve always believed it is just-plain tough to make a good machine better—but that was before I tried the new ES900 elliptical from TRUE Fitness. I may have to include them in the list of people who have succeeded.

If you liked the last generation version, the ESX (and I count myself among its biggest fans), I’m pretty confident you’ll agree. With a sleek, low-profile design and an even smaller footprint, the ES900 is absolutely ideal for residential fitness.  And quiet?  It is almost silent.

What’s most impressive, however, are the engineering upgrades. The ES900 provides a 16”– 27” stride length that adjusts by the half-inch, making it the most adjustable stride in the industry. Plus, with its 180° rotating handles and variable stride length, the ES900 is engineered to fit your striding motion more precisely than any other elliptical trainer. You get a total body workout experience tailored perfectly to your size, needs and training goals.

And while I am not a huge believer in reviews, this unit is getting great press:

Treadmill Doctor features the TRUE ES900 as a Best Buy, calling it: ‘…a high-quality refined elliptical for discerning consumers. Multiple feature options, along with its minimal use of floor space, make this an excellent choice in the premium market segment.’

Fitness Professor praises the ES900’s ‘…longer 16″ – 27″ electronically adjustable stride, new multi-grip handles, and improved aesthetic design.’

Without question, the ES900 still delivers the durability and premium performance we all demand from TRUE. Plus, as with all TRUE machines, they’ve put comfort and safety first:  The ES900’s side steps allow for safe entry and exit from the machine, it has a child lock and its Soft Step orthopedic footpads help decrease joint stress and eliminate foot numbness associated with traditional elliptical machines.

Feeling is believing. If you’re in the market for a well-engineered elliptical with a small footprint and big-time features, I encourage you to test-drive the ES900 from TRUE.
