Power Plate Proof: See Sustained Weight Loss with Power Plate

A recent study published in The European Journal of Obesity shows that not only does Power Plate training reduce visceral fat (more on that in a minute), but may also help maintain weight loss goals long-term once achieved.

The study defines visceral fat as the fat tissue between the organs in the abdomen. High levels of visceral fat cause concern among doctors, the researchers report: Medical studies cited in the study show a strong correlation between high levels of visceral fat and the incidence of cardiovascular diseases, such as heart disease, hypertension and diabetes.

It’s no secret that a diet low in calories and saturated fats is healthier for your heart. According to the results of the study, adding vibration training to a healthy diet helps achieve:

  • Weight loss of over 10%—which is maintained longer than without vibration training.
  • Double the amount of visceral fat reduced—much greater than through diet alone or traditional cardio training.
